Hey Jill and Fran . I come her pretty often but it is empty so I go and come back another day to empty .
So funny that this is called off topic (I understand the meaning of the topic ) but we have a topic and that is ANDY .
I remember so well when I first found out about the old Forum it wasn't even finished and I checked ever day several times a day to see what and when it was going to be up .
And then there was when I started buying Andy's
music . First was his CD of Best Hits ,those songs are so special to me .Every time I hear them I go back to those wonderful happy days of pure fixation on the one and only Andy Kim HUMM it was so much fun . And yes Jill we had such fun posting all kinds of different things in this forum .And I loved the time he chatted with us here .So COOL 8-) . Yes he did give us his recipe that was cool too ;)
Well Jill I am sorry you have not got to meet Andy yet but I can tell you he is a very kind and wonderful man . As I said before my Three Days In Heaven were just that ,a whirlwind but ahh . Jill I hope you can meet him someday .
I get the updates on Facebook but it is STILL NOT THIS FORUM . Like you , I and others have said .This is Home and I hope Andy will return again Someday .You are missed Mister Kim .
Remember when we were trying to write post with the words and or titles of Andy's songs ? :)
AN ANDY KIM FAN FOREVER .)

Hi Jill and Fran.......

It was good to see a new post when I dropped by today. I hadn't stopped by for a few weeks and it was a happy surprise to see yours posts. Even though the forum has been the glue for the fans for a very long time.....it is still a happy surge when there are new posts!!! Love all you guys/gals!

Hi Everyone,

I am in total agreement with all of you that it has been sad to see this forum being ignored as this was the reason I went on the internet back in 2004 right after I saw Andy in person in Birmingham, AL at the 2003 Thanksgiving night "Rockin" Shoppin" Eve. which began at 12:00 midnight to 6:00 A.M. I really enjoyed all of the postings back then and reading everything back then too. I'm not on facebook as yet, but I do go to Andy's facebook page just to get caught up with what he is doing. I've posted a few things on this forum, but you all are right when it seems people are busy and not coming here like they used to do.
I hope that Andy will remember that this forum is important too. We are die-hard fans here and miss him and the others who are hopefully still members of this forum. I wish we could e-mail each other like we used to with the old forum, but I guess that was replaced with the new forum.
Well, hope all of you are doing well, Happy Thanksgiving next week!

Till next time,

Gina Mc

Hey, Neia, Jody, Connie and Gina,

I'm not sure if it's this site or my e-mail program, but I never consistently get notifications when there are comments. I received them when Jill and I were commenting, but nothing after that. I got tied up with the holidays and didn't check back. Thus, I missed the last several comments.

Gina, I don't know what the answer is to the communication problems here. They've had to gradually whittle away at the features of this site because of spammers. We can't post pictures because they posted some really filthy ones and a lot of dangerous links. Private messaging was stopped, I think, for the same reason. It's a shame that something that was so much fun for all of us has just about been stripped bare.

We all miss the days when Andy came here to say hello on the holidays. I, for one, am glad he's busy touring, but it really would be nice to hear from him. :)

Well, I have removed the "Notify" checkmark and replaced it, so we'll see if I get an e-mail when someone else posts.

BTW, I just saw this post of Laura's: https://oldiesconnection.wordpress.com/ ... l-of-fame/ Great work, Laura.

Till next time,
Fran
