A very merry Christmas to Andy and to everyone who visits the AK Community! Wherever in the world you are, and whether or not you're having a white Christmas (it's currently 70 degrees F here in the Sunshine State of Florida and the mercury is continuing to rise!), I hope you're all having a wonderful day with family and friends.
What better way to celebrate Christmas on the Andy Kim forum than by spotlighting a couple of AK-related Christmas videos! The first one is from just a few years ago and features Andy Kim and Ron Sexsmith with the lovely and poignant "Whatever Happened to Christmas." Check it out here:
The second video is from a few more years ago—30 years ago to be exact! In 1985, a Canadian singer named Baron Longfellow was part of the supergroup Northern Lights, who recorded the song "Tears Are Not Enough," charity single for famine relief. The track was also included on the "We Are the World" album. These songs, along with "Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band-Aid, are often associated with the Christmas as efforts are stepped up during the holiday season to solicit donations to feed the hungry. Here's the official video, in which Mr. Longfellow (aka Andy Kim) can be seen singing along with the others:
Thank you, Andy, for all you have done and continue to do for the world.
Merry Christmas one and all!
