Wow Andy as always it was so good to see you perform..Great job ♥ And Laura you are so right this played so well . I am thankful that this was recorded so we could see it ..Keep up the good work Andy :)
You're so right, Laura. I don't know what I'd do if I had to go back to dial-up. I had Hughes Satellite for awhile and that was better but they limit the amount of bandwidth you can use per month. You can use it all up on just a few videos. About two-and-a-half karaoke songs will do it. I now have cable Internet and am very happy with it. While our personal Internet service has improved, we still wouldn't have things like this great video if the Internet, as a whole, hadn't improved.
I have friends and family who are scared to death to fully use the Internet. They stay away from Facebook and other great sites. I feel pretty comfortable to be there now but it takes some common sense and vigilance. If you keep a watch on your settings and don't post personal information and camera information, you stand less chance of having someone compromise your account or stalk you where you live. Believe it or not, I still have friends who announce on Facebook when they're leaving town and how long they're going to be gone.
I guess it looks like I got off the track here but I just hate for people to miss out on things like this video and more because they're not thinking things through.
Andy, your performance and that of the band was excellent. I missed the girl singers but those guys did a good job. @8^)
Love y'all, Fran
"Music is the mind-altering drug of all time"...Andy
I just discovered that Andy was interviewed by the host on Canada AM before he and the band performed. Didn't know dat! The interview took place at the end of the half-hour segment that began at 8:00 a.m. Here is the link to the video of the segment; the spot with Andy's interview starts at approximately 16:55. http://canadaam.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId ... d=1.815908
There is also a YouTube video with both the interview and performances. The quality isn't as good as that of the video on the Canada AM site, but the edited YouTube video allows us to see Andy's interview immediately followed by the songs, without jumping around from one video to another. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooyE9n1SnBo
Fran—you brought up several excellent points in your post about vigilance on the Internet, and as soon as my brain starts working again I'll respond to it more fully. :)
